CENFIM is a Vocational Training Centre for Metallurgy and Metalwork Industry in Portugal and a non-profit organization with 11 regional training centres covering whole country.
The main CENFIM aims to promote career guidance and improvement in the Metallurgy and Metalworking Industry by providing training on apprenticeship for young people, up-dating, retraining and development for all professional levels and is certified by ISO 9001:2000.
CENFIM has participated in Europeans Projects since 1989 in the framework of Programmes such as: PETRA, EUROFORM, FORCE, NOW, EQUAL, SOCRATES and LEONARDO DA VINCI. CENFIM has been coordinated or participated in some Projects concerning e-learning, with European partnerships since 1996. From the transnational Projects, CENFIM has enhanced his experience and know-how on vocational training, special on e-learning.
Role of the participant organisation in the project
CENFIM will be the leader of WP5 CENFIM will be attend in the WP1, Wp2, WP3 and WP7 workpackages: management, research, preparation and design educational products software development, testing and piloting, dissemination and explotation.
